Holy Angels Academy operates a Safe Environment Program. Although this program is mandated by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and their Charter, we, at Holy Angels Academy, fully embraces this program that helps us protect God’s children from abuse. Everyone who has regular access to our children to include all Holy Angels Academy faculty, staff, substitutes, volunteers, coaches, and parents, as well as any other outside personnel are required to complete a criminal background screen, review the Diocesan Policy on Sexual Misconduct or Abuse of a Minor Policy, uphold our Code of Conduct, and complete the online abuse training program called Safe Haven. The components of the program can be located under the Child Protection Section of the Diocese of Charleston website for further review. If you have questions, please contact the Holy Angels Academy Safe Environment Location Coordinator, Kristi Doyle.
