Holy Angels Academy is a parochial school and is administered by St. Anne and St. Jude Parish under the care of the Pastor. The Principal collaborates with the Pastor to ensure that Catholic education is delivered and taught to students of all faiths.
Our School is under the Diocese of Charleston Catholic Schools Office. The curriculum emphasizes faith formation, academic achievement, and social growth within a Christian community where each child feels that he/she is loved and respected by his/her peers as well as the faculty and staff.
Vatican II texts are used so that our theology is in compliance with the directives of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. United with each other in meaningful liturgy and prayer, the students can further come to an understanding of the Christian life. At Holy Angels Academy, we work together to inspire excellence in God’s children.
The Diocesan curriculum guidelines, consistent with the State of South Carolina guidelines, are followed for the teaching of all secular subject areas. The curriculum is marked by current content and fresh approaches to methodology. The emphasis is on enduring learning. We strive to offer a program which makes use of many sources of reading material, a variety of audio-visual and technology tools, and a multi-text approach to the content areas.
